Preliminary Canal Bridges Inspection in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Area

Brief Information : The transportation by car is currently the main transportation method in Bangkok Metropolitan Administration Area. The canal bridges in Bangkok play an important role to connect traffic system together. However, they have received too little attention and mostly constructed with lower quality comparatively with long-span bridges. They are therefore more risky to fail. This study is an pilot project to survey the condition of these bridges by visual inspection and some basic equipment.
